This weekend New York welcomed back one of the most famous faces in fashion, Mr. Tom Ford himself.  Ford was back in black, oozing his reular sex appeal, and promoting his new fragrance Black Orchid.  The glamourous fete featured an enormous replica of the new perfume bottle perched high on a stage as well as black orchids scattering the floor and elevator. 
The cream of the crop showed up in support of Ford.  The face of the fragrance, Julia Restoin, was accompanied by her mother, french Vogue Editor in Chief, Carine Roitfeld.  And where there is fashion, there are models: Both Carmen Kass and Julia Stegner hit the carpet in dresses unfortunately not created by the man of the hour. While I am eager to try your new scent Mr. Ford, I await the day when you return to the runway, sharing your sexiness with the rest of us.
